Weekly homework
We encourage our children to:
- read three times a week at home to an adult or independently.
- rehearse their times tables every week in line with their TTRockstars sheets that are delivered every week.
- learn their spelling words (tested on 3 words every Thursday). A new spelling rule with associated spellings are given out every Friday.
On each year group's webpage there is a menu choice of activities that the children can select from that is linked to their topics.
There are examples of the homework that the children have completed on the Twitter Feed (@apjschool) related to their menu choices.

If you have time, you could use some of your homework time to make sure you know these important words. These are words that you are expected to know how to spell.
